We are a new club founded in 2016, when we first started playing on the Castle green before moving to Bude Recreation Ground later in the year.
With the generous support of Bude Town Council, we were able to move to our permanent home on the Old Tennis Courts in 2017. We built our four lawns from scratch and now lovingly maintain them ourselves. Although maybe not the flattest of lawns we are so lucky to have sea views and the sound of the waves as a backdrop to our games.
We play all year round seven days a week (weather permitting) and someone can generally be found playing or maintaining the lawns most days.
Our roll-up club sessions for members are Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings at 10am-12pm, and Monday and Thursday afternoons at 2pm-4pm, during which time we can guarantee a game and receive some coaching, either from other more experienced members or our own CA qualified coach.
Although not yet playing in league matches, we often play friendly matches against other clubs in Cornwall and Devon through the summer.
