Thankfully it was a glorious afternoon in Bude today as we had yet more repairs to do to the grass. We have had so much damage done by birds, and whenever we make repairs they come back and start again. This time hopefully our work won’t be in vain.
The large area of grass that was lifted, levelled and relaid a few weeks ago is looking fantastic, and that is undoubtedly going to be our best lawn.
The Toro mower, which we bought with the kind assistance of the Croquet Association, has proved to be such a time saver and after some initial misgivings about it’s performance we are now delighted with it.
And what better way to end off a busy day after a quick cup of coffee in the sunshine than a game on a newly mowed lawn with the sound of the sea just a few yards away?
