Our last match of the season. Our neighbours from Barnstaple came down and despite a damp, cloudy day we enjoyed a full day of croquet, followed by tea. The lawns looked splendid thanks to a lot of mowing by John, the reorganised shed made a great kitchen and thanks to our new ability to use the Pitch and Putt building facilities we no longer have to trudge over to the cricket club. We all agreed that our new blue club fleeces looked very smart too.
Unfortunately for us Barnstaple were the better players on this occasion but we all enjoyed a good hearted match.
